On previous trips to Iceland, I found myself passing by by all of the small towns in favor of the must-see wonders that everyone visits here.

And yet they held a lot of fascination for me – I knew I was missing something genuine in the pursuit of grandeur.

And so on this trip, I wanted to see the places in between. This small portfolio is my experience of everyday neighborhoods in an extraordinary land…
